Avadh Chikankari Producer Company ltd. Established its brand name ,”Sozan Dozi the Karigari of Lucknow”. Sozan dozi is a Persian word means needle work (Sui ka kaam). It symbolizes the creaon of beauful designs embroidered on different fabrics with the help of needle and threads. The brand covers producon of arcle in 3 different categories; women wear, Men's wear and home décor / accessories items. Women wear includes suit lengths, kurs and dupaas in coon, chanderi, georgee, silk, modal, muslin etc. Men's wear includes Kurta and Pajamas in different fabrics. Home decor includes Curtain, bed sheet, sofa cover, cushion covers etc.
Avadh Chikankari Producer company Limited was established with due support from the Office of
the Development Commissioner (Handicra) Ministry of texle Government of India in Lucknow.
It involves 517 Women Chikankari Arsan of Kamlapur, Sitapur and 150 trained women Chikankari
Arsan of USTTAD programme Lucknow.
Cluster arsans of kamlapur, Sitapur and Lucknow were idenfied by the parent organizaon, Uar
Pradesh Vigyan Manch (UPVM) Lucknow and Company came into the existence in July 2020
